Roles: Job Seeker vs Assistant
BidHub supports two primary roles: Job Seeker and Assistant.
Your workspace, available actions, and collaboration tools depend on the role you select.
Job Seeker
A Job Seeker is the person actively pursuing job opportunities.
Job Seekers can:
- Create and manage profiles
- Search and apply to jobs
- Share profiles with Assistants
- Review applications, screenshots, and assistant activity
- Give feedback to Assistants based on application quality and outcomes
- Manage credits and usage reports
- Track statistics and payment-related reporting
Assistant
An Assistant helps Job Seekers search for roles and submit applications.
Assistants can:
- Work with profiles shared by Job Seekers
- Search and apply to jobs on behalf of Job Seekers
- Review feedback and application history
- Get paid by Job Seekers for their work
- Track their own activity and statistics
How collaboration works
BidHub is designed around collaboration through shared profiles.
- A Job Seeker creates and owns a profile
- The Job Seeker can share that profile with one or more Assistants
- An Assistant uses the shared profile to search and apply with the Job Seeker's information, documents, and criteria
This keeps everyone working from the same source of truth.
What shared profiles control
A shared profile controls:
- Personal and professional information
- Resumes and cover letters
- Apply Criteria
- BidHub Copilot behavior
- Credit billing: When either the Job Seeker or an Assistant uses paid actions such as open-ended AI answer generation, Job Board access, or document tailoring, the charges apply to the profile owner's credit balance

Connect with partners
BidHub provides dedicated tools for building professional relationships between Job Seekers and Assistants:
- Find Assistants (Job Seeker only): Search for Assistants, review their experience and performance, and choose who to work with.
- Find Job Seekers (Assistant only): Find Job Seekers who need application support and connect with them directly.
Use these tools to find the right partner and build a working relationship inside BidHub.
If you turn off Contact Visibility in Account Settings, other users will not be able to discover you through these partner search tools.
Important note
If you try to open a page that is not available for your role, BidHub may show a Forbidden (403) page.
Some pages inside shared sections can still be role-based. For example, Platform Usage inside Statistics is visible to Job Seekers only.
